eReaders
The following guide is for eReaders like the Nook and Sony eReader. Adobe Digital Editions and an Adobe ID are required to download and transfer eBooks to an eReader. Use Overdrive's Device Resource Center or your device's manual to see what formats your device supports.
The EPUB format allows the text to be resized and to change the fonts. Some devices might be able to change the text on PDFs. The PDF format is used to preserve the layouts of complex documents.
Downloaded eBooks will remain in Digital Editions and on your eReader until you delete them. If the loan period has expired the books will be inaccessible.
